Reds eye La Liga star

Brendan Rodgers sent his team of scouts to Spain on Monday night to run the rule over Real Sociedad forward Antoine Griezmann, reports the Daily Mail.
The French youngster has been one of Sociedad's best players this season scoring 16 goals in La Liga from a wide position.
His fine form has not only attracted the attention of the French national team, but also from top Premier League clubs including Arsenal and Manchester United.
Liverpool, who are preparing a £60m transfer spending spree ahead of their Champions League campaign next season sent scouts to Sociedad's 1-1 draw against Granada to check up on the player.
Rodgers is looking to add quality to his squad ahead of what is likely to be a strenuous campaign for his squad.
Liverpool have benefitted from not being in European competition this season and face at least six more games on their calendar next term.
However, Liverpool officials must first convince Real Sociedad to part with their prized asset, and are believed to want around £20m for the player. Then they must also fend off rivals Manchester United and Arsenal for his signature.
Manchester United can't offer Champions League football next season but seem to be ready to pay more to secure stars ahead of rivals this summer.
Although managerless, Manchester United are pushing forward with plans to sign top stars, but it is not known how high on the priority list Griezmann is.
The real competition may come from Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, who appears desperate to reinforce his forward line this summer.
