Double swoop on Cardiff

Liverpool are being linked with a double swoop on Cardiff for keeper David Marshall and defender Steven Caulker in the summer.
Caulker only joined the Bluebirds last summer but he has a release clause in his contract which allows him to leave if they were relegated and Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is considering a move to strengthen his leaky defence.
Marshall is a slightly more unlikely purchase as Simon Mignolet has done an excellent job between the posts this season, although he has come in for some occasional criticism, whereas Marshall has made more saves than any other keeper in the Premier League.
Cardiff do not want to sell but may have little choice and Liverpool are not alone as the vultures are circling in South Wales.

Liverpool are ready to capitalise on Cardiff's relegation to finally land Steven Caulker.
Reds boss Brendan Rodgers wanted Caulker last summer but Spurs refused to sell to their rivals.
They instead flogged former England U21 and Great Britain stopper Caulker to Cardiff for a smaller £8million fee but with a 50% sell-on clause.
The Bluebirds captain, 22, has had a decent campaign despite the Welsh club being bottom.
He has scored five goals and Rodgers, who had Caulker on loan at Swansea in 2011/2012, now wants to finally get his man.
Caulker has a relegation release clause which Liverpool now plan to activate.
